Great location, superb room, fantastic food and excellent staff. Simply one of the best places we have stayed in the UK. Handy for easy bus in to Bournemouth or gentle stroll along the beach. Also try their beach-side bar/bistro Urban Reef - for tranquillity by the sea just 5 minutes away. Breakfast is awesome - the Bloody Mary is a... More

We just had a great night away at Urban Beach (January 25th) It was our third stay here and as ever it was fabulous. We had room 2 which was beautiful with a large chandelier. Its over the bar so if you want an early night take ear plugs but I would recommend to forget that and stay in the... More

My husband and I stayed a night as part of my 60 birthday celebrations. My daughter gave me a card saying 60 is the new 20 and that summed up my feelings staying here! There is a great fun and friendly vibe, the room and bathroom looked stylish and trendy and the breakfast was one of the best we have... More

This is a really good B&B. You get the feeling the owners have stayed in other B&B's and thought 'how can we make this a better experience'. Its the little touches I like, for example a selection of dvd's to watch, welly's for the beach and the best in my opinion a note saying where the switch is to turn... More

I went to stay at the Urban Beach for a break as I'm a carer. This hotel is very special. It is unique in many ways, one of the biggest I found was the atmosphere, it is free and fun but still serious when it comes to food, drink and service. The hotel makes it's own scrummy liqueurs and delicious,... More

We cannot say anymore than previous comments made. The management & staff at the Urban Beach are the best we have ever experienced. We stayed the weekend before Christmas and the restaurant and bar were full both nights, but they made sure we had a table in the evening for dinner and we were really well looked after. The hotel... What can I say! It was my thirtieth, and my first anniversary with my girlfriend. We work in the hotel trade and therefore needed a real break with no fuss. Well, we found it. The ambiance of the place when we walked in, the staff friendliness, the room, the service, the cocktails, the food... I could go on but couldn't... More
