The rooms were very clean, with good mattresses and solid beds. There was some traffic noise in our room noticeable in the early evening, but the road was quiet late at night and even my wife who is a sensitive sleeper slept through with no problems. The welcome was warm and friendly with plenty of information. The room was spotless and comfortable. The food was great, really fresh and tasty. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. When a pub was recomended to eat they also supplied a map with the route and acopy of themenu. We were spoilt rotten. more

Excellent value for money. The Cavendish is only a short walk from the town centre (10 minutes from the BIC); the room I had was clean and comfortable (the bathroom was a little bit tight for space - but not a major problem). Stayed for a long weekend 3nights. This is an excellent family run B&B idealy located to walk to the shops or beach and gardens.
