Fantastic stay at the Avalon. Big comfy beds, neutral decor, great food and service. Lovely wine list, and the home cooking was superb. Can't fault it! It's about an hour's walk into Bournemouth along the seafront - which was the perfect way to wake up every morning! Taxis are about £9 into town. more

This Hotel in South Bourne Beach is ideal for a stay in Bournemouth. It is (as the website rightly indicates) minutes from the beach / cliffs but far enough back from the busy main road to be quiet at night.
