I wish we had stayed more than one night in this lovely place. The room I had was spacious and comfortable with plasma TV & a laptop. We stayed here for a wedding nearby and were thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness, the professional staff, lovely food and really super rooms. There were three of us and we had two rooms, both pretty and comfortable. A nice touch was a small fridge with bottled water and fresh milk (so rare.. always seem to have UHT milk in hotels!)... more

I stayed at this hotel for one night during the start of June while in Shaftsbury on business. It was great. I couldn't fault it at all. Its now called the Fleur de Lys Restaurant with rooms. The food is six star, with impeccable service and an excellent cellar. Comfortable bar lounge and lovely rooms all nicely refitted. Cant wait to return! more
