We stayed here on our wedding night (and the following night). Having looked round one of the newly refurbished rooms (which was really impressive) i was disappointed to get one of the older style rooms. For the price it was pretty dated, especially the bathroom, and a bit tatty. It was huge though and quite impressive in a certain way... more
I travel a lot within the UK for work. The Eastbury is the only hotel I actively look forward to going back to. The staff are welcoming and helpful; the rooms are varied but all lovely. The breakfast is truly excellent. I'd thoroughly recommend a stay if you happen to be visiting the area. more
We chose this venue for an 80th birthday get together. The rooms, gardens and conservatory/dining room were a perfect setting. The staff were brilliant - always extra helpfull. The food was right for a special occasion and breakfast properly done - no vegitarian options though. more
Stayed 1 night in the "Yew Room". Very comfortable, well appointed. Dinner was very good, lovely staff, good menu well presented. Breakfast was equally good - lots of choice, hot or cold buffet or both - your call. Easy parking, no complaints at all. Best English hotel experience for a long time - far better than the last 3 Hotel... more
The Eastbury Hotel is within easy walking distance of the lovely market town of Sherborne in Dorset. The hotel itself is mostly built from honey coloured stone, with an imposing facade looking onto the street. The staff are welcoming and efficient, our room was luxurious and well appointed. There was a full sized bath, separate shower, ground coffee and tea... more

Our well travelled family of 2 adults and 3 children stayed for 2 nights at Eastbury and it was a most enjoyable experience. The hotel grounds are charming and the management and staff try their best to accomodate our needs. We ate at the restaurant and find that the food was well cooked using fresh local produce. The chef and... more
My fiance and I stayed at the Eastbury as our friends' wedding was being held there. We had an executive grade room, 'Tamarix' with a lovely bathroom and large comfy bed. Nice touches like the jar of homemade cookies on the desk were appreciated. Our room looked out onto the courtyard, which was lovely and the gardens are very nice.... more
We eneded up at this hotel as the hotel that we booked had a power cut that night and couldn't accommodate us. We had booked a four poster room in the other hotel and were given 'Lily' in this hotel, which we were very pleased with. It was a lovely large room, with a super king size four poster bed... more
My husband and I had a wonderful two night stay at The Eastbury. We had a luxury room with its own courtyard garden. The food was delicious and the room lovely and well appointed. I think what really made an impact was the staff - cheerful, thoughtful and accommodating. We would strongly recommend this hotel. more
