Me and my boyfriend stayed here over the weekend for a couple of nights, lovely B&B, amazing cooked breakfast in the morning with homemade jams & homemade bread. The rooms were lovely and comfortable and the owners were very friendly and helpful. more
A great little find in Swanage. The staff were really chatty and helpful - with recommendations of places to eat and the area. Rooms lovely and clean and well appointed. A well appointed B&B (hotel standard). Clean and comforable rooms; quality breakfasts with home made and locally sourced ingredients. Great base for a walking,surfing, sea fishing or beach. more
Stayed for one night (would of been 2 if I'd been quicker off the mark!)..very friendly chatty hosts.. Rooms comfy and quiet..with a nice pub and very nice restaurant a short walk away. Breakfast was great..made with local organic produce and you could taste it. Best of all..no kids!!! Will definitely stay again. more
The locally sourced breakfasts here were the highlight of the stay, well cooked and lots of choice. The B&B was very clean and well decorated throughout, and the attention to detail was good, chocolates and bottled water await in your room, as do bathrobe, slippers and clean towels daily. Having read many of the reviews for this Guest House before booking, I can only agree with comments made. The breakfast was excellent, with an excellent choice of menu. I had the privilage of playing Swanage Blues Festival this October, 12 of us stayed here & what a fantastic place, with great attention to detail, The weekend was superb & after a busy night playing, The Swanage Haven was a great place to stay. credit to the owners keep up the good work & I hope to stay again... more
as business travellers we appreciated the free internet, but we quickly forgot all about business... taking a walk down to the seafront... stunning even in October. i can wholly recommend Dianne & David's little retreat.. both for business and leisure! best quality ingredients served with pride.... toasted homemade bread and sweet but tangy drippy gorgeous marmalade to finish off the perfect 'Full English'!! more
