If you are looking for a welcoming country B&B don't bother going to the Westleton Old School House. Despite it being a beautiful listed building in a picturesque village complete with friendly lovely old pubs and duck pond, once inside the door, it left a lot to be desired. Unfortunatley the interior of this Victorian school house has been stripped of most of its character and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable but to be honest, could have been in a new Barrett home for all you could tell. We were made to feel more of an inconvenience for being there unfortunately, getting in the way of the owners social lives and our room stripped and started to get ready for the next guests before we had even finished our breakfast. When we mentioned to them that we felt a bit turfed out before our check out time of 10am their customer service response was to shout at us and demand we leave. Not the personal, welcoming touch you look for when staying at a B&B.
