Stayed at the Royal York for the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. The hotel location is great - very central for shopping, restaurants and sightseeing. This is a beautifully decorated hotel in a really good location - right by the seafront and a moments walk from the shops. We ate in the hotel on our first night and the food was excellent - really enjoyed it. With the hotel being new everything is clean and the room was a decent size with a lovely bathroom.... more

We stayed over the weekend and had an excellent time, we had a king room, luxurious and sumptuously decorated. Extremely comfortable bed and being new everything is pristine. Thank you to all the staff for such a excellent evening and stay. We had a gorgeous meal in the restaurant, and some amazing cocktails in the bar afterwards. This Hotel wasn't listed on TripAdvisor, because it was so new! It opened the week we stayed and so we found we were the first people ever to stay in our room!
