I stayed at the Brighton Hilton this weekend just gone as part of a conference. I have to admit to being rather excited about staying in a Hilton but sadly I was left very disappointed and would not return. Reception - This is a nice area, very clean and pleasant but they never had enough staff on to assist leading... more

My husband and our 16 year old son stayed here for one night in June. The hotel is in a great location (on the seafront) - 10 minute walk from the Pier. We had a family room which was big enough for the 3 of us. The rooms are more modern than the outside of the hotel. We dined in... more

We stayed at the Brighton Hilton Metropole for a weekend in June 08. It is conveniently placed, towards the Hove end of the sea-front, within 15 mins walk of the station and 5 minutes from the main shopping area in Western Road. The front of the hotel overlooks the burnt-out remains of the historical West Pier. We had a family... more

I stayed at the property on a Saturday whilst visiting friends in the city. It is a grand old lady of a hotel with the expected dated parts that give it the charachter that you would expect in a Victorian puropse built hotel. The public areas are very imprssive as is the service and attitude of the staff. I did... more

I stayed in the Hilton at Brighton on the night of the 7th of June. With a friend, as we are both travel agents we got a brilliant price..which i wont say as people will get jealous! :) Anyway as soon as we got the hotel the interior was very grand! the receptionist was lovely and helpful and dealt with... more

I have just returned from a week long stay at the Hilton Brighton Metropole. I have to say that the hotel feels tired. This once great beauty of the Brighton seafront is in need of love and investment. After speaking to a broad selection of staff, it seems like the investment is slowly happening. The hotel reception/lobby has been refurbished,... more

This was my birthday trip after a bad couple of years! Our first holiday since our honeymoon in 2003!! We took our 2 year old son just for the weekend. I specifically wanted a hotel with a pool. Being 8months pregnant I needed an alternative to walking around! The lifts were in constant use by staff so we had to... more

I had the responsibility of booking a trip away for 12 ladies, coming from all parts of the UK who wanted something relaxing, in a central location but near the seaside and that wasn't extortionate - quite a task! However the Hilton Metropole in Brighton made this task simple and stress free, and really didn't disapoint in any area. They... more

Stayed here one night with a Globus Tour. This was the worst hotel they booked us into, but that does NOT mean it was terrible. The others were simply much nicer [modern]. This one used to be nice (about 100 years ago) and the marble staircases and ornate ceilings DO add to the charm of the place. Sorry my photos... more

Stayed at the Hilton weekend of the 17/19th of May, travelled with Mum, Aunt and cousin as part of a 60th B'day celebration. Hotel is lovely, clean rooms which have a modern bedroom area but quite dated Bathroom. No mini bar in the room - But not really needed as we brought our own room drinks! Very large hotel with... more
