If this were a cheap family run hotel I would praise the faded grandeur, admire the retained victorian features and accept the disorganised breakfast experience. But it isn't......... The double room was small and under furnished but bathroom had been redone quite well. Staff seemed uninterested. Breakfast food was down-market. There were 16 of us staying at the Ramada Jarvis, Brighton for a hen do, and the hotel couldn't have been better. We had a fantastic deal whereby we payed £70 pp for two nights bed and breakfast plus dinner on the first night. We booked a standard double room for 1 night and it was well worth the money (£55 booked direct from the Ramada website). The room was very nice, bed was quite big considering it was only a double. Stayed at the Ramada, Brighton for two nights as we managed to get a special deal for £139, which included dinner on the first night, and then breakfast both days. ok so we picked the hotel, tried to book online and it doesnt take all cards so we had to phone, but that was fine, we found the hotel really easy, arrived a little early and was told that we couldnt stay and had to come back. went back 2 hours later and they wanted to take £50 for drinks... more

I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. Hotel rooms clean and modern. Flat screen tv also internet access. Bathroom lovely. The Breakfast was an excellent buffet. Gorgeous food also include cereal and fruit for those of us on diets. Great location, very close to all amenities. Town just about a 8 minute walk. Close to odeon cinema... more
