well this was supposed to be a 4 star hotel...mouldy bathroom, hole in door , filthy windows and air con that dripped all night and they said couldn't move as no rooms ..so 2 nights of not sleeping....and only 1 towel! more

Poor hotel. Rooms small and shabby, with 3/4 double bed. Towels poly/cotton so do not dry very well. Little in the way of bathroom toilettries, shampoos etc, tiles chipped, walls dirty. Organised 100 work colleagues to stay at the Holiday Inn for 2 days in September. The hotel staff were amazing, from beginging to end. They organised everything from accommodation, dinner, disco, meeting rooms ect. The smooth running of our 2 days was completly down to the staff. I cannot fault anything. Our son and new daughter in law had their wedding reception at Holiday-Inn on Friday 28th August, 2009. From the moment we arrived the staff were courteous, helpful and very friendly. We stayed for 3 nights on a family break. As this was the first time we had travelled for more than 1 night in a hotel with our young son we booked a dinner bed and breakfast package.
