We stayed there at the beginning of October in a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the small church. The room was rather cramped and could have done without the very large wicker chair. The bathroom was spacious, no shower but a spa bath, staff friendly, choice of cooked English breakfasts. Hotel not full because of poor weather,... more

We have just returned from a perfect weekend stay in Brighton. Great value 3 nights for the price of two. So we took Friday off work and went down Thursday night so that we could take advantage of they 3 night stay. It really gives you time to relax. We had a back room which was small but had everything... more

Just returned from Brighton England where I have just been on a business trip. Brighton is very easy from Gatwick airport about a $40 cab ride. (30 mins). Had meetings in the Hilton Hotel which is right next door to the Granville Hotel. I like to stay in smaller friendlier places than big corp. establishments. Also hasd meetings up in... more

Such a beautiful hotel to stay in for our weekend by the sea. The staff were really freindly and helpful, especially on reception, they made us feel right at home. We stayed in the Brighton Rock room, which has an amazing view of the old pier and a massive jacussi bathroom, this was perfect and although it's quite expensive, it... more

This hotel is a throw back to the 1970's and it looks like that was the last time it was updated. The hotel can be best described as 'faded'. The rooms we saw were small and in need of a complete overhaul, from cracked wash basin to uncomfortable beds our stay was not the best. We refused our first room... more

Our room (The Regency Room) was small, dark and dingy. It was not worth £85 a night, more like £60 or less. The decor was non existent. The bedspreads on the twin beds did not match. In fact they clashed with each other. One of the beds was almost in the bathroom. The small sofa in the room was covered... more
