This hotel is ideally located with friendly approachable staff. The breakfast was fantastic, the bar area was clean and spacious. The only down side to the whole experience was our room was not cleaned during my two night stay nor was I given fresh towels........ Once I contacted reception, they were very apologetic and couldn't do enough for us. More

I booked a weekend getaway with my friends for my birthday via lastminute. When we arrived we were told by the unfriendly and frankly confrontational staff that they had no record of us. This is one of my favourite hotels on the south coast. I love that old seafaring vibe about the place. Had cause to stay overnight in Brighton recently and this one was my first port of call and hotel of choice. Friendly welcome and helpful staff made the stay pleasant. 8/10 More

Stayed here with a friend last August. Room was fine although it would have been nice to have got a proper twin rather than a double bed and sofa bed. Service was great. More
