Currently staying in the Adalaid room on the ground floor. Good job we didn't bring a cat, definitely wouldn't have been able to swing it anywhere. Walls are paper thin, I can hear next door flushing and showering. Our shower is luke warm and be careful when plugging into the wall on the right side of the bed, the socket... More

We stayed in this B&B on a week night and as we were unable to arrive before 6pm to check in we were emailed a code number for the main door. Before we arrived we received a call from a member of staff making sure we knew how to get in, the lady on the phone was very helpful and... More

I was a little worried about this hotel after reading other reviews on here, some were justified others perhaps not..GOOD POINTS: the room was nice and clean and had plenty of space; the bed was really comfy; bathroom clean and nice toiletries BAD POINTS The bathroom was absolutely tiny, the light switch was outside and as you had to close... We stayed at Lichfield house for NYE and was pleasantly happy with our stay for such a good price especially for the time of year. - The room was clean, plenty of space with modern furniture and ensuite. - The location for us was fine.. Only a 10 minute walk into town and 2 mins from the sea front -... More

Positives: Location ok for city centre. We managed to park reasonably close by. Negatives: Initially stayed in Patcham room on ground floor - front of building: Dubious cleanliness of ensuite sink behind taps. Uncomfortable bed Totally inadequate blinds fitted to window - white vertical blinds and had some gaps; curved window. Excessive light pollution from street light outside. No common... More

We recently stayed in Lichfield House Brighton and I have to say although some previous reviews did make me concerned about our choice of hotel I was nicely suprised when we arrived. I cannot say what the other rooms were like but we stayed in the Cromwell room and it was very comfortable a good place to rest your head.... More

We stayed for 2 nights in the Cromwell room. It was lovely and spacious. Bathroom was quite small but does the job and was all extremely reasonably priced. The staff were extremely accommodating to all requests we had. Will definately be returning!

We have spent one night in Lichfield House. The 'Cliffton' room was small, dark and had no window. Bathroom was so cold that there was no way we would have a shower. Approx 30 minutes after our check in someone tried to get into our room. It was another guest who was allocated to the same room as me &... More

Stayed here for 3 nights and was slightly worried after reading some of the reviews on here. We had the Cromwell Room which was simply stunning. The lady who serviced our room was there when we arrived and was very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. The bed was one of the comfiest we have slept in, and I was... More

This is the only hotel we have ever stayed at that you wipe your feet when you leave... The room was filthy, there were somebody else's pubic hairs on the pillows and a half eaten sandwich under the bed. While my wife was taking a shower one of the very grubby tiles fell off the wall and hit her, at... More
