Reading the other reviews of this hotel raised my expectations but we were a bit disappointed overall really. The location is great, right across from the pier and 5-10 minutes walk into the Lanes and bars/restaurants. A 15 minute walk (downhill) from the train station so get a taxi back up! Great hotel with lovely views over pier and central for good shopping, cafes and restaurants. Room perfectly formed plus a balcony under eves- dont really need much more. Staff friendly, helpful and cheerful; so an altogether good experience. Definitly will be back for more as its our first choice for stay in Brighton. More
