We booked Snowstorm and must compliment the photographer! Although it was sweet we were hugely disapointed that the snowstorms were under lock and key and could not be played with. There was zero storage other than a thin spinning mirrored wardrobe, The room was very very stuffy and the air conditioning too noisy to have on for too long. Though... more

My wife and I got married last weekend, and held our cocktail party reception at Blanch House. From the very start of our planning, we were looked after and James (one of the hotel managers) went out of his way to make us feel welcome and at ease. We weren't looking for a stuffy, traditional wedding, and wanted something more... more

I wish I had looked on Trip Advisor before I went. I wholeheartedly agree with the many poor reviews of this boutique hotel. The first thing I noticed on arriving was the shabby paintwork in the hall and stairs and the tired looking bar area but I hoped I would be blown away by our room which at £130 a... more

We stayed in the Renaissance room over the August bank holiday and loved it. Although a little on the small side, you have to be very organised when un-packing and getting ready, but once that was done it was fine! There was a local pub out to the back of the room with a terrace which was a little noisy,... more

We booked the Blanch House through Mr and Mrs Smith for our first wedding anniversary and stayed 2 nights in Orchid. On arrival we bought parking permits from reception which were great and saved us a fortune in parking fees. The hotel is quite small and in the current heat wave very stuffy. Our room was beyond tiny, it consisted... more

We spent our first year anniversairy at Blanch House and it was really great. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the welcome very warm, the breakfast so delicious, the dining room, an interesting, pleasant place to while away a brekkie! Of particular note: the dog, the alcohol free cocktail which made me feel like i was having a real cocktail, (thanks... more

We held our civil partnership ceremony and reception here in March 2009 and can honestly say they delivered in every way possible and more! From the very first meeting right the way through until the big weekend itself all the staff at Blanch House were a credit to the business with a particular mention to Rachel & James. From the... more

Got swept up with the pictures on the website and booked to stay in the Alice room, a small but exquisitely decorated silver oasis... After booking I read the reviews on trip advisor and then worried about what we were going to find when we got there. Arrived early and rang to see if we could check in, no problem... more

We ended up extending our stay so we stayed in both Decadence and Perrier Jouet, two of the large rooms. We were shown around some of the other rooms too, and though they were nice, the bigger rooms are worth spending a few extra buck on, if you're a couple especially. The rooms were beautiful, not in a polished sleek... more

I hadn't stayed in Brighton for a while and wanted to take someone special to lovely boutique hotel. After a very brief deliberation we opted for the Decadence suite... it was perfect. A beautiful large room with an amazing bath and lots of natural light. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff were the most friendly and accommodating I... more
