My partner and I stumbled across Cowards by chance when trying to book a B&B last minute for a weekend away. Gerry was incredibly welcoming and his interesting life proved great breakfast conversation. We found it by chance, while walking around Kemptown, booked for a night and stayed for three. A genuinely friendly welcome, a comfortable bed in a pleasant room, an excellent and generous English breakfast, - what more can you ask? I have been to Cowards many times now after it was recommended by a friend. The rooms are decorated and furnished to a high standard. The owner is very helpful, friendly and is able to give good advice and knowledge on the area. The cooked breakfast is second to none and there is cereal if you prefer. I now always... more
