Having stayed at many gay hotels in the UK we would recommend the New Europe as probably the best. We have stayed there several times; pay the few pounds extra for the seafront rooms and you get a bay window with amazing sea views. The standard of accommodation is better than many 3 star hotels. We have stayed at the hotel on many many occasions, and have found it to be ok, the rooms can be very small and expesive for what u get, if you dont mind used old condoms outside your window on the top floor, the view is just of the sea at the side and a view over an open plan... more

My partner and I booked at New Europe on the advice of an English hotelier retired to Florida. We had only one overnight for Brighton, and on a Monday not much was happening in this resort, club wise. But it was a relaxing spot, with a central waterfront location, pleasant staff, large, comfortable room with a very good shower. Also... more
