If this hotel was elsewhere it would be quite average but for Brighton it is quite good. Problems with Brighton hotels in summer are too much heat and noise and this doesn't have either. The corridors have security doors to stop the drunks coming on to your corridor, I suspect. Walking back to it late at night is not all... more

This was the first of three Premier Inns we tried on our vacation in England, and the one we rated lowest. This does not mean that it was a bad hotel, but rather an average+. The room was a little tired, but of fair size (for some reason we got a room suitable for wheelchairs). The staff was friendly and... more

This hotel is ideally located for discovering Brighton. It’s a ten minute walk downhill from the station. First impressions aren’t great. It’s located on a busy and quite scruffy road and has a doorway entrance next to subway. You have to enter the doorway and take the lift to the 1st floor reception., once there everything is as you’d expect.... more

My partner & I stayed here for one night when we had to be in Brighton at short notice for a family emergency. We did not have time to research a nice, cute B&B with good reviews (having stayed in one with a rock solid mattress on our first night in Brighton). We picked the Premier Inn because of the... more

We stayed here for 4 mights with boys aged 9 and 13, so we needed plenty of room. We were ready to check in as soon as we were allowed to but the only family room was a bit small (the receptionist kindly took us to see it) so she suggested we wait a few mins whilst she sorted us... more

I had high expectations of this hotel after reading a number of the reviews on here but unfortunately have to report that some very basic issues let this hotel down. The toilet seat in the bathroom in our family room was almost falling off and our young son actually fell off it and hurt himself. We were moved to another... more

A friend and I stayed here for one night so we could go to the Bonfire Night celebrations in Lewes. I'm only posting this review now because I can't believe this hotel has any good reviews at all. We'd booked a twin room, but when we opened the door to our room we were confronted by a double bed and... more

We have stayed at plenty of hotels in Brighton (cheap ones, and some nowhere near cheap ones!!) and this was the best by far! Ideal location, as mentioned before you can smell the Subway sandwich shop (which is next door) in the reception area, but not at all in our room which was on the 4th floor. Room was facing... more

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel and were disappointed at the standards. The rates are high for what you get. The room smelt of damp and the bed mattress was v saggy - and caused me back ache! Also the aircon is centrally controlled and switched off during the day! There is no sound proofing between the rooms. We... more
