This is a lovely hotel, big cosy bar, great restaurant and lovely rooms. Just a point to bear in mind the rooms that look like beach huts are outside and so don't feel like part of the hotel, they would also be a nightmare in the rain, snow etc getting from the room to the hotel. more

£185 per night and what we had looked like a travelodge room. I really couldnt tell the difference frankly! We booked a king sized room - but still couldnt open the wardrobe fully in it, but an oversized bathroom. We basically enjoyed our stay at the HdV and would agree it's a reasonable place to base yourselves to explore Brighton. Stayed 1 night at Hotel Du Vin, and booked into Adur room. Lovely room tucked away along a little external balcony and away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. Hotel du Vin, brighton is a lovely hotel with on the whole excellent service. There is a feeling of calm and tranquility which is so good compared to some of the other, bigger hotels in Brighton i've stayed in! The bed was so comfy with crisp cotton sheets and plump pillows.
