Stayed one night here and not in a particular rush to return. Room was clean, though carpet quite stained. Also noted unattractive stain on back of bedspread. Bathroom very nice. Bed not great. Breakfast very poor - very stale croissants (brick like), off grapefruit juice (fizzy), cold toast and ungenerous portions of cooked items which seemed to have been sitting... more

This hotel is a very nice change from the normal, new build chain hotels I normally stay in. However, it must be noted that the building is old; if you want perfect and spotless stay in a Travel Lodge. The room was lovely. The decoration was fantastic, although the carpet was in need of a good shampoo. The only let... more

My boyfriend & I stayed here on 4th-6th November. We booked late via Hotels.com £130.00 for 2 nights (including breakfast). The hotel has 8 themed rooms and because it is a listed building there are no lifts but the climb to the top of the hotel was worth it as we have never seem a hotel room decorated like this... more

We stayed at this hotel earlier this week, and had a wonderful time. We were in the Bejing Dragon room, loved the decoration and the jacuzzi bath. The staff could not have been more helpful, and were very good in providing a special breakfast for my vegetarian boyfriend. The only tiny niggle was that the wifi was slow, but I... more

Stayed here last thursday night for my birthday. We had the Louis room which was nice and had a good view of the square / sea. The staff were really helpful and pleasant, a good breakfast brought to our room and lovely molton brown products in the bathroom. The only downfall was that it felt a bit worn, the bathroom... more

As well traveled people who have had fun slumming it in hostels, owned and run a four star hotel & restaurant for years and stayed at the most luxurious hotels in the world we found this Hotel most strange - which, when reading this review, you should take into account.....at a mid-week rate of £120.00 one things for sure -... more

I am somewhat confussed with this review as the description does not describe our hotel in anyway, there are number of hotels in Brighton with very similar names. We have spent a lot of time and effort bringing The Royal Pavilion Townhouse in Regency Square up to a high standard. We recieve many bookings via a number of Internet hotel...

This was our second stay at the hotel. First time brilliant but now, watch out! The biggest problem was noise. Not creaking floorboards, but the "rocking" club which has now taken over the premises at the rear in Preston Street. 1.30am is not a great time to be forced to complain but I did, and eventually the music was turned... more

I haven't done one of these reviews before but we had such a wonderful time we felt it was only fair to share our experience. We dicided to catch some of the January sales but didn't want to stay in one of the normal hotels so gave the Royal Pavilion Townhouse a go. We stayed in the Beijing Dragon and... more

Having read the reviews on this site, someone said (sorry I paraphrase a little) take an average of the reviews and you’ll get a good picture – very true. On arrival we were greeted with a smile and our bags taken up the 3 flights of stairs – good start. We went into the room and at first glance it... more

Having looked in Brighton for something 'a little different' to take my wife away for the weekend, the Pavilions seemed to offer the ideal solution. The website shows well-decorated rooms (and they are) and, when I called the hotel direct, I was told that for my £170 per night I would have a luxury room with sea view and jacuzzi... more

It is always with great disappointed to both myself and the staff when we here of a disappointed customer as we strive hard to keep the standards to very highest level. I would however like to respond to the issues reported. With regards to the room, this appears to be nothing more than a booking error and the room they...
