This was our second stay at the hotel. First time brilliant but now, watch out! The biggest problem was noise. Not creaking floorboards, but the "rocking" club which has now taken over the premises at the rear in Preston Street. 1.30am is not a great time to be forced to complain but I did, and eventually the music was turned... more

I haven't done one of these reviews before but we had such a wonderful time we felt it was only fair to share our experience. We dicided to catch some of the January sales but didn't want to stay in one of the normal hotels so gave the Royal Pavilion Townhouse a go. We stayed in the Beijing Dragon and... more

Having read the reviews on this site, someone said (sorry I paraphrase a little) take an average of the reviews and you’ll get a good picture – very true. On arrival we were greeted with a smile and our bags taken up the 3 flights of stairs – good start. We went into the room and at first glance it... more

Having looked in Brighton for something 'a little different' to take my wife away for the weekend, the Pavilions seemed to offer the ideal solution. The website shows well-decorated rooms (and they are) and, when I called the hotel direct, I was told that for my £170 per night I would have a luxury room with sea view and jacuzzi... more

It is always with great disappointed to both myself and the staff when we here of a disappointed customer as we strive hard to keep the standards to very highest level. I would however like to respond to the issues reported. With regards to the room, this appears to be nothing more than a booking error and the room they...

We wanted just one special night to get away from it all in a romantic bubble and we certainly chose the perfect venue. We stayed in the Beijing Dragon room and it more than lived up to expectations. It was certainly an alternative room to stay in decor-wise and we were impressed with the creative attention to detail. It was... more

Stayed at the Royal Pavillion in June, and had a very mixed experience. Arrived to get a nice room - the "Tudor Rose", which was full of charm. Nice decorations, full of character. Nice large clean bathroom with spa jets in a large bath tub. Bed was a large canopy bed, and the room also had tv, free-view and DVD... more

I was looking for something a bit different for a romantic weekend break and some friends had recently stayed at the Royal Pavilion and recommend we try it. We booked the La Chambre De Louis room and we both agreed this was probably the nicest room we have ever stayed in with its sea view, four poster bed and Jacuzzi.... more

Stayed in Brighton for 4 days just after the Easter weekend at the RPT and really enjoyed our stay. We were in the "Chambre de Louis" room, fab room. Very grand, with a lovely view over Regency Square. As you accessed the suite via a small private hallway with doors to the bedroom & the bathroom, it feels more like... more

we have just returned from a 2 night stay at this hotel and would have to agree with the recent poor review given. We stayed in the beijing dragon room which, for the money, we felt had been overstated on the web site. The noises of creaking floorboards in the room above kept us awake, along with the cold as... more

We have just returned from a visit to the Royal Pavillion townhouse hotel. We stayed in the Chinoise room. The sixty stairs climb to the room was a bit of a surprise and when you climb it three times a day - you can certainly feel it. There is nothing four star about this hotel but the staff are very friendly... more
