The Neo is one of those hotels that could be special being near central Brighton and the beach. The staff are young and friendly; the rooms are individual with modern designs and comfortable beds; the breakfast is really special with individual attention, quality food and relaxing; the bar is small but with great cocktails. So, it could be special but... more

I only stayed at the Neo Hotel one night and was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff on my arrival. I had a single room with a small en suite completely adequate for my stay, even had L'OCCITANE shampoo and conditioner which made me feel special. The room and en suite was sparkling clean and the bed was comfort itself,wonderful... more

We went to the NEO Hotel for the weekend. After reading the reviews on this website, I wasn't expecting much. However, We loved this little hotel, our room was very good size, the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is amazing, the location was nice, quite and just 5 minutes away from the Pier and 10 minutes away from the Lanes.... more

Its just too expensive for what it is ... We stayed in room 2 which on a positive note had a lovely big soft bed and great wallpaper. However for £150 there was no bath, the shower head leaked at the top, dodgey tap, really rattling windows and street noise, plus a really annoying loo that if you leant back... more

The Neo Hotel was not previously known to me, and the credit for its discovery must go to my very dilligent (and even after many years, still so gorgeous) wife who seems to be blessed with an ability to find the fantastic among the mediocre time and time again. We spent 2 nights there arriving on Friday 2nd March 2007. The... more

Spent the weekend in Brighton at the end of January and chose the Neo on the basis of Tripadvisor reviews. We had room 8 which was beautifully sumptious with it's red and gold chinese wallpaper and low hung tassled lampshade. Bed was extremely comfortable, apparently they have the same ones as at the Savoy! No niggles really. As previously stated,... more

We stayed at Neo for 2 nights as a birthday break. Our room (number1) had great wallpaper, lots of cushions, big windows and comfy bed. When booking and asking for room advice we were told the ensuite was small - and they were right - in fact possibly the smallest bathroom I have ever seen! But it did the job.... more

I'm quite fussy about hotel quality – especially when you're paying what is most people's weekly rent for one night – but found this to be a lovely little hotel, beautifully decorated, nice staff and quality furnishings, and as mentioned, the breakfasts are indeed one of the best. HOWEVER, we arrived on a Sunday (just for the one night) and... more

Just back from a lovely weekend at the Neo. Room 5 was very comfortable and had the most fabulous ensuite (bath big enough for two, plus separate shower). Marcus in the bar knows his cocktails and the breakfasts were so large we didn't need lunch. Great location and friendly service all round were the icing on the cake. It's a... more

A nice hotel only minutes from the main seafront and about 15 minutes walk from the railway station. Staff were friendly, although the reception is not open 24 hours (normally 8am until 8pm). Great DVD selection that can be borrowed and played in your hotel room. Good selection at breakfast - I loved the smoothie and large choice of juices.... more
