We were in Brighton for a wedding and having booked a hotel and then reviewed tripadvisor we decided to change to The Claremont. We found the hotel great and met all our needs for the weekend, it is close enough to the city centre that one can walk but also far enough away that it is quiet and secluded more

I recently booked the entire hotel (11 rooms) for myself and my family for a weekend to celebrate my 40th birthday (24 guests ranging from age 1 to 75) From the beginning nothing was too much trouble. We had a buffet evening meal on the first night and a proper sit-down three course for the second. The food was great.... more

Just had the most amazing couple of days away at the Claremont. We shortlisted two hotels, but loved that this was off the main road, was just two minutes walk from the beach and a ten minute walk to the centre of Brighton. We stayed in the traditional room with four poster, gorgeous decor, lovely, clean and crisp with a... more

We turned up on a Friday evening to find out that our Expedia booking had not gone through. Dan from the Claremont took it all in his stride and had our room sorted out in no time. We stayed in a stylishly decorated four poster room with a beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was cooked to order and the bacon was the... more

This hotel was every bit as good as the reviews said. We were met by Dan who took less than 5 minutes to check us in, give us the parking permits we needed and carry our bag to our room. Room 4 - large and decorated with various art works. The actual hotel is pretty old but every thing inside... more

I stayed at the Claremont Hotel on business for a week and a half in total, the staff were friendly but also gave the privacy that I needed whilst being away for so long... The breakfast menu is extensive for a hotel of this size and, well to be frank, tasted wonderful too!! My room was comfortable, clean, tidy, tasteful... more

Having searched for somewhere nice to stay we settled on The Claremont and when we booked we found Dan, the manager, very helpful. Having decided we wanted to stay in one of the larger rooms, after looking at the website, Dan explained what each room had to offer. We stayed in a very spacious room, with a lovely 4-poster bed.... more

Well............We had a great time! The Hotel is lovely......quaint may describe it...but in a really upmarket and subtle way. We had 3 nights over a long weekend, and found the hotel, the staff and the management all charming and very eager to please. Certainly very happy to recommend this one to all. more
