Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great little hotel in the perfect location in Brighton. 3 minutes walk to all the shops and restaurants you could want one way, and 3 minutes walk to the sea front the other. Spotless cleanliness, and everything works! I mean the shower works, the lights work, the coffee machine works, the curtains work! Nice little touches, like waste bins in both the bedroom and the bathroom, and lovely toiletries! I would thoroughly recommend this place.

Quirky hotel, nice and quiet. We stayed in the first floor suite with the double balcony. even with the cold spell we had it was nice to step outside every so often to get some fresh air. Omri was really helpful and prompt with a couple of questions we had.

This small but stylish hotel is a 15 minute walk from the centre of the city (eg, the Lanes) along the seafront. Our room had a kingsize bed, excellent shower, and a useful coffee machine. Parking is five minutes away in the open air car park of a bingo club for about £18 for 24 hours. It was odd to see no-one during our overnight stay but perhaps practical for a hotel with only a handful of rooms.

This little gem of a hotel is in the middle of Kemptown with the seafront at the bottom of the street. The rooms are immaculate with very comfortable furnishings and a good shower. There are some thoughtful extras such as White Company toiletries and Pukka teas. For once, the TV was easy to use without needing to refer to a guide. The street seemed busy in the day but was very quiet at night - especially given its central location. I know Brighton really well but when I walked to the top of the street and turned right, I found an absolutely charming area, new to me, with a wealth of cute cafes and independent shops. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone who wants a smaller more individual stay rather than the usual corporate hotel chains.

Generally good but no breakfast a disappointment as was no hot chocolate - I don’t drink tea or coffee. White Co in bathroom a plus . Clean and tidy, comfy bed with good amenities. Sea view was a bit of a let down but could be glimpsed at the end of the road. Good location.

Hello and many thanks for taking the time to share some feedback. I'm delighted that you enjoyed the quality of ours beds, toiletries and surrounding area. Im sorry to hear that you're disappointed that we don't provide breakfast, we stopped doing it about three years ago however we have listed in our guest directory plenty of amazing places within walking distance that offer high quality, tasty and reasonably priced breakfasts and brunches. We will also take into consideration offering hot chocolate sachets for our guests that don't drink tea and coffee. Thanks again for your review and hope to have you stay with us in the future.

Really pleasant 1 night stay at The White House. The room's really clean, well furnished and perfectly comfortable. A really nice touch of the owner to call us prior to our arrival and check we were okay and to let us know how to get there. Couldn't have asked for more (which is just what you want!).

Stayed one night in the lovely room 3 (more of a suite than a room). Large, beautifully decorated, quiet and comfy. My second stay. I love the balcony. Not advertised as having a sea view, but you can in fact see the sea from the end of balcony - a bonus. There isn’t a reception desk, instead there is an automatic check-in process, which might confuse people new to it, but it works, (and probably helps keep the price so reasonable). Omri went out of his way to accommodate my requests - so ask him if you need anything. I didn’t need parking in this trip. I love being 100m or so from the beach.

Booked this venue as working in Brighton. I knew there was no onsite parking, so parked on Marine Parade, 5 minute walk. This was the most expensive parking I have paid for in Brighton, which was £14.50 for 4 hours. Communication from owners in advance of arrival, with number code to gain access to premises and to room. I was in room 7 on 2nd floor. Stairs of premises (no lift) were steep. Room was lovely (no desk) as was ensuite. Shower was small, I would not be able to bend over and pick up shampoo/soap. For a 1 night stay it was great.

Hi Ian, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, it means a lot. If you're ever in Brighton again with a car I would recommend using Buzz Bingo Car Par ( 1 Freshfield Way, Brighton BN2 0LE). Its located a few minutes walk from us and they charge approx £11.20 for 9 hours and £18.50 for 24hr Thanks again
