The location of the hotel is good and is central to amenities. However, it was very noisy. There were loud voices and door banging in the early hours of the morning which went on for some time. The noise must have carried throughout the hotel. The bed in our room was past its sell by date a long time ago... more

Throughout my teens, I was a camper in the 1980's before campsites were governed by hygiene and health and safety legislation. I put my head down on many plots of land where the owner was out to make a quick quid from campers staying the night. All the filthy old cowsheds with dividing rails that were used as toilets always... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel and I do wonder what people expect when they book a 2 star. We found the owner to be very polite. He let us into our rooms well before the 14:00 check in. The bedding was pristine white and the bed was comfotable. The en-suite was spotless and the room was large... more

Where do I start, what an awful place. We made a terrible mistake of paying for our room upfront, before seeing the room. As soon as we got the key a member of staff was nowhere to be seen. Our room was the pits. The bed was broken the matress was absolutely filthy and looked like it had been pulled... more

Booked this hotel because of its fair price and found out just how they do it so cheap! After arriving on friday night to a less than warm welcome, I went out for the evening. When I returned to my room, which had been locked when I left I found valuables to be missing. I contacted the manager, who was... more

Was a bit worried when I read some of the other reviews of this place but was very pleasantly surprised. Stayed here midweek for one night - Room was very clean, bed spotless and extremely comfortable, contained everything I needed and had a beautiful double windowed view over the sea - all for under £45. The location is perfect -... more

I was quite worried having seen some of the reviews on here but the hotel was fine. It was good value and well located for the centre of Brighton. There was a friendly welcome and the breakfast was fine. No its not the last word in luxury but I wasn't expecting it to be. Room 32 is up a LOT... more

Warm welcome by the receptionist on Saturday Evening . Excellent customer service. Delicious breakfast to start the day. Nice view from room no 24 with balcony The room is standard which requires a bit of colours! Parking spaces limited unfortunately. Had a very enjoyable stay which is good value for money more
