Jane and Ricky are perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble. Arrived to find champagne and chocolates for our Valentine's stay. More provided than any other guest house we have stayed in. Even had toothpaste and brushes. Room is great and the Lodge is quirky and full of character. Have not met any ghosts.......yet.

We stayed for one night, and it was very enjoyable. The room was clean and very equipped with facilities (tv, dvds, books, magazines, refreshments, adaptors, shoes shine . . . even mints on the bed). Breakfast was lovely and filling with many options. Very quirky house, with lots of charm. Just mind you head from all the old beams!!

If you want a great stay in a beautiful b&b in the old town of Hastings try the medieval lodge, Ricky and Jane made our stay a very enjoyable place to be with a lovely breakfast and warm comfy room. Wonderful little B & B. Made to feel really welcome, rooms comfortable with everything one would need. Fantastic location and great hosts. Would highly recommend it to anyone. Could not have asked for a better place to stay

Cute cottage, lots of low beams, whitewash walls, nooks and crannies. Jane and Rick are such a friendly, genuine couple, really went out of their way, ask Rick about his drumming and you may even get a demo (or more if you are there for a Monday evening!). Stayed here for two night and it was really lovely. The lodge itself is very quaint and the rooms are very comfortable. It is in an excellent location within Hastings old town. The owners Ricky and Jane were lovely and gave us a great welcome. Will definitely stay again if ever we pass that way again :)

Stayed for one night and found Jane & Rick to be very accommodating to our needs. My granddaughter loved her little pink bed and the budgie. Very reasonably priced, close to sea front yet in very quiet street, good breakfast also. In all a lovely stay, many thanks.
