We were very impressed by the high standard of the accommodation. We booked a superior country 4 lodge but ended up in a 3-bedroom lodge with two bathrooms (one en-suite to master bedroom ). Comfortable lounge space with dining area & well equiped kitchen adjacent to it. The only downside of the accommodation was the power & consistency of the shower - pretty weak & soon ran out of hot water. The site itself is in a lovely peaceful location right by a country park & when we went for a wander round (about 10pm) we saw foxes, badgers & squirrels on the edges of the site. Plenty of walks in the vicinity. It is about a 15 minute walk into Hastings Old Town (downhill), the walk back up is quite taxing & there are no street lights for the last 250 yards. We only ate once in the on-site restaurant (Sunday lunch) & were quite impressed with the fare which cost around £7 for the main course.
