There are some beautiful b&bs less than 5mins away which are £45-60 a night depending when you book (including the night before!) - this travelodge was £45 over a week in advance plus a sneaky £3/day for parking which was a hassle to sort and had to walk a long way from car around building to reception (esp with heavy... I stayed for 2 nights. Easy check in, helpful receptionist. Large double room spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed. Bathroom spotless with plenty of hot water and very pleasant shower. Tea & Coffee making facilities - ask for more teabags at reception and they are happy to oblige. On site parking costs 3 pounds for 24 hours. A ten minute walk... More

This is the second time that I have stayed at this lodge and once again I have not been disappointed with the place. I have read a lot of negative reviews about this place but I have found them to untrue. my time spent there has been very good indeed the staff are welcoming and very polite, cant do enough... More

Had to move rooms three times as the first two rooms were disgusting. Didnt look like they had been cleaned and the bathroom was the pits. Very helpful receptionist, but would never stay there again. the security chain was missing off the third room, the carpets hadnt been hoovered, and the bathroom was disgusting. Cheap yes, cheerful, no!

A large basic hotel, a short distance from the front. Staff cheerful and helpful but very thin on the ground. Rooms were large but very dated and in need of a good deep clean. We had a family room which contained a bed settee, the arms of which had been used to wipe hands, a television with a good selection... More

A group of us stayed overnight ready for a dance comp the next day. Having read the reviews we didn't expect great things. However the staff were very friendly and helpful - one guy on reception doing everything. We had food which was fine for us adults and 6 girls. Breakfast was lovely and as much as you could eat.... Pleasant receptionist. Good, clean room. Comfie bed with fresh white linen. Could not hear a thing from next door room where there were two small children nor could we hear the road. Fine for what we needed it for, an overnight stay and we could see the sea from the car park!!

Stayed at this hotel for two days whilst on a short break in Hastings. I have stayed in other Travelodges in the UK but this is the worst one one so far. It has two floors and is located on a busy road which leads to the small town centre. The first room we got had an awful bed. It... More

Bathroom mold continues to be the enemy of this Travelodge, although much has been done to refurbish some of the rooms. It is not for me to advise them but using more expensive anti bacterial silicon and a daily wipe with an anti mold spray might help. Our family room was clean and unlike previous visits there was no evidence... More
