Have been here many times and just love the place. It is very remote and surrounded by fantastic countryside along the River Ouse with paddle boats to hire on the river. Food and service is second to none.

We just ended up having a quick pint and some fries. We did consider a boating trip but it was really expensive. The beer garden was full of people. Whilst we were inside ordering one of the staff said that there was another bar where people could order from.

A beautiful location by the river, this pub is a lovely day out both in summer and comes into its own in winter, with log fires and general old worlde cosiness.
