Only stayed a night but it's such a lovely place, with really nice, friendly staff. Room (Chocolate) was enormous, with sofa and chairs at one end. We were given tea and cake on arrival and also had a tray in the room with a proper teapot and a cafetiere, different kinds of tea, hot chocolate and real coffee, with fresh... More

I wanted to find somewhere to stay that was a little bit different and I wanted value for my money. We booked the Sandpiper room which is their newest and all I can say is WOW!!!.... Large room, large bed , large bath, large shower and super eco friendly extra luxury's. We slept well both nights and enjoyed a excellent... More

We stayed one night and loved the place! Friendly staff, great breakfast, lovely room. lots of attention to detail, eg organic shower gel and shampoo. Central and quiet. we would definitely go there again.

billed as a luxury b&b but let themselves down on details the location is excellent in the town centre and the room was large and comfortable with a good bathroom but the welcome by a harassed tea waitress was functional but perfunctory our first breakfast included a badly overcooked sausage, a burnt slice of toast and lumpy scrambled egg toiletries... When we were looking for a place to stay in Rye we were abit overwhelmed with the choice. It's a popular place with lots of pretty places to see. One of our highlights was our b&b - it was a really lovely place, homely and welcoming in a perfect setting. The rooms are decorated well and there are some great... More

Booked two rooms 'The Mulberry' and 'The Chocolate' rooms, for an overnight stay as we were at a family wedding. The rooms were beautiful, beds very comfy, room immaculate and clean, everything you could wish for and more. There were little extras like 'homemade bubble bath' and chocolate in the room. Towels fluffy and robes. Nothing was too much trouble... More

Beautiful B&B in the centre of town, we arrived caked in mud having hiked from Hastings and were immediately offered cake and tea. Our room 'Kingfisher' was through a separate entrance next door to the coffee shop, on the first floor. It was the cheapest room on the website but I picked it because I liked the picture, and we... Sandpiper is a new addition to the B & B at Hayden's - it over looks the Salts, the river and the sea, on a clear day! The decor is sand & sea themed, very calming - the bed is huge and the shower amazing. Breakfast was delicious and very varied - we didn't need to eat again until the... More

We have travelled through big towns, small towns and villages in UK for about twenty odd years now and during that time we have stayed in all the varieties of accommodations. Many of the B & Bs we have stayed in during this time have ranged from quite decent to excellent. Hayden's in Rye is one of the best in... More

Last night my partner and I ate and stayed over at Hayden's and what a treat we had! The food was fresh, hot, tasty and well presented by attentive and courteous staff - what a gem of place that we would recommend to anyone. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and tastefully decorated with thought for the... More
