We had a very enjoyable three nights .The staff are friendly & very helpful. The food is extremely good & our dinner, bed & brekfast deal was such good value we could barely believe it. We stayed in the Sankey Suite - excellent double fourposter, separate small sitting room with two very comfortable armchairs and its own[i.e second] TV, modern bathroom with bath/shower. We booked a two night 'wine and dine and stay for free' break for a quiet few days together and had a lovely time. Stayed here in November in the cottage, staff were very friendly and helpful. Was a first time visit to Rye and really enjoyed exploring it. The view from the top of St Mary's church was amazing and is a must. Will definately visit Rye again and stay at The Hope Anchor. more
