We (group of 6) stayed at Durrant House over the August bank holiday weekend; it was lovely to return to a big comfy 4 poster bed with a huge breakfast awaiting the next morning! We very much enjoyed staying in Durrant House. Will certainly stay again when we come to Rye. Room and location were perfect. We enjoyed the breakfast, particularly the smoked haddock, a real treat. Very relaxing and would recommend it highly to our friends. more

Durrant house was amazingly clean & comfortable without being stuffy or too formal. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and the bathroom was immaculate, you could tell that the owners take a lot of pride in the house. Durrant House exceeded our expectations. We received a warm welcome and were delighted with the comfort and quality of our room and the delicious breakfast. We were fortunate to find parking outside the door and could then spend the day enjoing this gem of a town. The local restaurant and cafe we used during our stat were also good value.... more

Stayed here for one night in July. Very obligingly put an extra bed in our room for the third member of our group. The old house was beautiful and the room very comfortable, with a lovely big bed and brilliant wonky floors. The breakfast was great and the extra effort of baking muffins did not go un-noticed by my sweet tooth! Our hosts were incredibly welcoming (providing their courtyard for our bikes!), and even managing to send back a forgotten item of clothing.... more
