River Haven Hotel is a perfect romantic destination. As a solo traveler I can say I had a great time and loved the town and the surrounding areas. The food was great and my room very comfortable. I can’t think of any unpleasant surprises during my stay and I especially recommend it to young couples. more

We stayed here for two nights (Sunday and Monday) and overall were very pleased with our stay. The hotel is modern and on the outskirts of Rye, although still only a few minutes walk from the town centre. As it is a modern hotel you won't get any of the Olde World charm that you may get from staying in... more

I booked this hotel at the last minute as all B&B’s and hotels were fully booked in rye and as it is only rated as a 2 star I had some reservations. However, my boyfriend and I stayed here in the second weekend in June and I would most definitely recommend it to anyone and we would go back ourselves.... more

We have stayed at this Hotel three times in two years. Staff are friendly, rooms clean and tidy. The place is convenient for the town and for trips through the surrounding countryside. Our only niggle, the restauant is not as efficient as it could be. We had to ask to be served at breakfast once we had found a clean... more

This is an average modern hotel, convienient for town but on a very busy road. Our room was fine, reasonable size, ensuite etc but having been promised a great view, we instead had a view of the carpark and the busy and noisy road behind. It also took all weekend to get rid of the strong smell of smoke from... more

We would recommend this hotel as a typical ** establishment with ample off-road parking (parking can be a problem any further into the town) that is within 10 minutes walk of several good restaurants. (Having had to wait for at least an hour for our mediocre meal to appear, we would not recommend staying at the hotel's restaurant for dinner... more

My wife and I stayed with 11 other friends for three nights as a yearly get together. The hotel staff were very obliging and helpful. The rooms and hotel were very clean and well decorated. (and wheelchair friendly on the ground floor). We all stayed half board and had a good choice of food at breakfast and evening meal. The... more

We had a one night stay in this very convenient and easy to find hotel in Rye. The hotel staff were local and very friendly giving good advice on how and where to go in the town as well as being very flexible with check out timings etc. The breakfast was super and for a family room the whole lot... more
