This has to be the friendliest place we have ever stayed at (and we are seasoned travellers!) Greeted By Simon who made us feel like we were old friends. The room was superb and very tastefuly decorated. It just made us feel like we were in our home from home. The breakfast was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. Simon made... more

We enjoyed every part of this weekend away in Rye, The room (Appledore) was warm, comfortable and extremely clean. If only all B&B's were this lovely! Wonderful breakfast with a wide choice of food freshly prepared or cooked to order. The extra attention to detail provided by Wendy and Simon included a map of Rye with recommendations for places to... more

Just had excellent night's stay at this very comfortable B&B. Very friendly hosts, Simon and Wendy, who gave us lots of useful info about places to eat in Rye. Room (Iden) was really lovely in every detail plus very good shower. Excellent breakfast. Would highly recommend here . more

Willow Tree was a perfect place to stay for a weekend break in Rye. The house has been beautifully refurbished and lots of little touches come together to make you feel like you're staying in luxury hotel, whilst the friendly service and hearty breakfasts remind you that you are in a B&B. Our room was slightly noisy with traffic from... more

We stayed two nights here and really liked it. The room was comfortable and cosy and the shower was good. Simon and Wendy were very friendly and helpful, without being obtrusive, and pointed out a lovely walk down to Winchelsea. We enjoyed the cooked breakfast (particularly the hash browns), and it was walking distance from the town, so we didn't... more

My wife and I booked to stay at Willow Tree House as a last minute get away to celebrate our anniversary. Simon and Wendy couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. They made every effort to ensure our short stay in Rye was as enjoyable as possible. In a renovated old house, the rooms were tastefully furnished and extremely comfortable.... more

My mother and I stayed a week at Willow Tree House. Leaving that marvelous place was most difficult. After several weeks of B&Bs during our travels through England we thought we'd stayed in some top quality places. We ended our trip with the absolute best. Every aspect of our stay was given with our needs in mind. I enjoyed walking... more

Both my wife and I are senior citizens and over our life together we have stayed in many locations in Europe, America and the United Kindom and Willow Tree House has to be the most hospitable place we have stayed in. This unassuming B&B is without question a credit to its owners Wendy and Simon the presentation of the rooms... more

We stayed 2 nights at the Willow Tree House and must say Wendy and Simon are the perfect hosts in this absolutely tastefully decorated guesthouse. The attention to detail, the cleanliness and great breakfasts would be impossible to improve upon. However, we found the bed (in Playden room) to be too narrow and short and think a slightly larger bed... more
