I've stayed in hotels all over the world but I have never seen a bathroom so clean, I literally felt I was the first person to ever use the shower! Lovely B&B with fantastic hosts. I ate at the Wellington and cooked my own fillet steak!!....wonderful melt in the mouth. A very pleasant stay over in Seaford. More

We stayed in this hotel for two nights in January 2012 with our two labradors. It is very comfortable, with surprisingly good facilities for dogs - they stayed in the room with us, had their own water and food bowls (supplied) together with an assortment of treats and toys :-) The room was immaculate, had its own en-suite, TV and... We had a very pleasant stay here recently. Room was very nice with a great selection of biscuits and well stocked mini bar. Bathroom was huge with nice complimentary soaps etc. Our room also had a conservatory which was quite a cool and fun place to sit in and chill out. Breakfast was superb with particularly impressive mushrooms. Hosts were... More

Hi. Thank you for your kind words, we are so please you enjoyed your stay. We work very hard to ensure that whilst we are very dog friendly we know not everyone likes to smell them ;-) so ensuring The Silverdale is spotless is important to us. Lou loved your comments about the mushrooms, she loves cooking the breakfast for... More

We stayed at the Silverdale for one night in January 2012. We booked the Cuckmere Haven room as we had our small dog with us. The reviews of this property do not exaggerate. It's lovely and is particularly good for those travelling with a dog. The room was immaculate, very well decorated and of a far higher standard than you... More

We stayed here many times with our two dogs under the previous owners, who were excellent, and have many happy holiday memories. So were a little apprehensive about returning when the current owners took ownership of The Silverdale. We need not have worried, it's lovely with terrific hosting. Cannot find a single fault, and would recommend it, confident that any... More

Thank you for your kind words, we took over the Silverdale three years ago, and found the previous owners dog friendly policy very popular, so decide to keep it going. We are glad we did. We have met many fantastic dog owners and lots of great dogs. We are very Lucky, remember though, you don't have to bring a dog... More

We chose The Silverdale because it offered dog friendly accomodation and we were not disappointed. The room was large and comfortable and equipped with everything you could possibly need including a very generous complimentary basket of goodies, teas, coffees etc, and all you could need for your dog. We were impressed with the amount of information given on where to... More

Thank you for reviewing us on TripAdvisor and for your kind words. We are very pleased you liked all the dog friendly information, we would find it really frustrating visiting somewhere and not knowing where to go with your dog, so we try and make sure we point you to all the best places. Sorry about the parking, being an... More

Two nights visiting relatives, first time staying anywhere with a dog but they made it easy. Nice room and big en-suite, all spotless. very generous room facilities both for us and our dog (even dog towel, bowls, treats and other well thought out canine neccessities). Top quality breakfasts with locally sauced fare, proper sausages, free range eggs and even bacon... More

Thank you for your kind words, we are very pleased you enjoyed your stay, we love our bacon too, we buy it from a local farm and whilst the rind on is not everybody's cup of tea nowadays, we find it makes a lovely treat. Kind Regards Norm and Lou. More
