My husband, I and our 8 and 6 year old girls plus dog spent a glorious week at Boucers In August, along with my sister and her family also with 2 young girls (3 & 6 years) and their dog.

We were greeted on arrival by a menagerie of ducks, hens, geese and baby chicks as we collected our wheel barrows to transport our luggage down to our tents. We had two tents down below the orchard area.

The tents are beautifully set up - they feel rustic but offer luxury to those who like a little bit in their lives! I loved the fact we had an indoor loo and running water. We had dinner by candle light and parafin lamps. The children loved sleeping in the bunk beds and the cupboard bed was a big hit too.

The fact this is not a working farm was a plus for us with young children. The kids were totally safe from working machinery etc - they so loved feeding the pigs ( there were two litters of piglets - all had been named by the end of day 1). We let them roam - to... more
