We stayed there one night with my family 2 adults and child and what a great welcome from verian, it was so nice with a real feeling of home away from home. This was good for a one night stop although the room was ensuite it was on the small size. The breakfast room was nice and airy and the Proprietor was very friendly and welcoming. Stayed 2 nights at the beginning of December. We were told within a few minutes of arriving that heating and hot water would be available after 4pm. As a family we took 3 rooms and had the place to ourselves for the weekend. Verian was very friendly and took the trouble to learn the children's names. Comfortable, clean and quiet, the rooms are well maintained while the garden and views are lovely, with horses and puppy providing entertainment for the kids. The annex is large and well-appointed... Would definitely recommend Whiteshoots. Short walk into the village. Friendly welcome. Would definitely go back there. We booked last minute and nothing was too much trouble. Bourton on the Water is a lovely place and well worth a visit.
