This hotel has recently changed its name to Cheltenham Lawn and should not be confused with the Lawn Hotel at Gatwick.

This is the only entirely vegetarian accommodation in Cheltenham and is well worth finding at 5 Pittville Lawn. Your hosts, Anthea and Ken are very welcoming and friendly, as is Chester the dog who is very well behaved.

The rooms are individually decorated by Anthea, who is an artist and her artiistic flair is much in evidence in the textiles and art throughout this beautiful Regency house. Anthea also runs art/design/textile courses in the elegant first floor drawing room which also doubles as Pittville Gallery.

After sleeping soundly between Egyptian cotton sheets, we were treated to an enormous breakfast of cereals and fruit, followed by eggs, baked beans, tomatoes, toast and jams, all of which were organic and sourced locally.
