This was such a lovely hotel. I spent 2 nights with fellow colleages, the room was very pleasant and the shared areas of the hotel were even more lovely. So pleasant. Extremely recommended and my favourite in Cheltenham. Restaurant is very nice and has a great refrectory with nice sofas. Perfect place to chill out a weekend. Food is also... more

Stayed for a saturday night only in July 2008. Decoration is very worn and the room was tiny. We paid extra to have a meal with a glass of wine, but when we arrived in the afternoon we were told it was for lunch only. Finally got are food about 5pm. Great location and lots of parking. Would not stay... more

We were planning to stage a surprise party for my partner's 30th birthday & decided upon Cheltenham as a suitable place to have a good weekend. I booked a king sized room & our friends booked separately unbeknowns to my girlfriend. On check in our carefully laid plans were nearly scuppered when the receptionist announced I had 4 rooms booked... more

I live in Cheltenham and this used to be my faourite place to go that was until it got taken over by another chain about a year or so ago. The friendly staff left leaving new staff who clearly weren't given the right training and all of a sudden the best chill out zone in Cheltenham had disappeared. I've gone... more

A lovely unique hotel, just like you would see in a Miss Marple mystery. As I walked through the door I felt like I was stepping back in time. Lovely staff, spacious, clean bedrooms and breakfast in bed, what more could you ask for, i would recommend to everyone. The only down side was the price of the drinks in... more

Stayed for a weekend with my husband. Loved the decor and our kingsize room was adequate if a bit small. Cocktails in the classy bar were a treat. Lots of private groups/parties which created a great buzz. Had to wait for an hour to get a table in the restaurant but def worth it as the food was great. Great... more

I've stayed there for just one night, with my colleagues while we were on business trip. I find this hotel real gem, with it's decorations, furniture and overall design. It was relaxing, nice chilling atmosphere seating in the lobby and working on laptop. Bar is very nice decorated and cocktails are great. We all stayed in single rooms, which were... more

We found a cheap deal on their website (£95 for a king size room) and visited on a Sunday night. I really liked this hotel - fantastically stylish, good sized room, great fittings and a fantastic bar. I love quirky hotels, so could understand it might not be to everyones taste, but it worked for me - especially the resident... more

We stayed here last Friday for one night, (despite the hotel website saying that at weekends you have to book for two nights). We had a kingsize room with a very comfortable bed and plenty of space in the room. Our room was quiet, the bathroom was nice, but slightly on the small side. We booked on the hotel's website... more

We stayed at the Kandinsky for two nights as a weekend get-away. The hotel looks impressive externally and the common areas are very nice. However, we paid £100 per night for a very small standard room - infact the smallest, I've stayed in outside of London. The room was functional at best, but the size meant that the bed was... more
