We booked a standard room online. Confirmation email said - It was a first floor room with a flat screen tv. While a tiny flat screen tv was there, the room was in the basement. I stayed here as part of a hen weekend. The staff were lovely to us all arranging taxi's, late group breakfasts and generally making us feel very welcome. The rooms were very pretty, and super comfortable But don't worry, it's rare they have hen groups so don't think that might ruin your stay!

Our fith stay in two years, very welcoming, excellent service relaxed and stylish. Jayne noticed we were sat on the deck outside reading and offered and brought tea and biscuits. Found this hotel on the net, and what a find! The room was fantastic, very spacious and extremely comfortable. Also very handy for the centre of Cheltenham. The cooked breakfast was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for affordable luxury as a base to see Cheltenham and the beautiful Cotswolds.

The hotel is beautifully appointed and very welcoming. The owner checked us in and as a room was available he was happy for us to check in early. He ensured we were shown the layout of the property and explained the honesty bar which is a nice touch and very reasonably priced for the quality of the wine and spirits.... More

We stopped while it was the "festival" we were so looked after, every thing was prefect - even a racing post in the morning, we could not ask for anything more. Every one was so helpful this hotel is first class. I only hope we can get in for next year
