We stayed two nights at the Battledown. Comfortable and beautiful home. The room was new, fresh and reasonable sized. Sarah and Simon are excellent hosts and served us an outstanding top-restaurant quality breakfast. We can highly recommend Battledown.

Agree with other reviewers - an exceptionally well run and beautifully decorated B and B. In our opinion it is the little extras that make so much difference - after a long car journey we were welcomed with tea and biscuits whilst at breakfast there were lovely homemade jams, marmalade and banana bread.
