Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I've stayed at the Redesdale many times and have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly, the rooms a good size with a comfortable bed and complimentary drinks. The quality of the food at breakfast and dinner is always very good and the bar is well stocked with a wide choice of beers.

The pub is great with great food and amazing staff. The team really make you feel welcome and work so well together, especially Ben and Cameron in the bar. The pub food is really good and great value for money. The breakfast is outstanding, really sets you up for the day. The bar and restaurant areas are clean and beautifully decorated. I would say it is the place to stay in Moreton-in-Marsh. Our room was spacious and again spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits, a decanter of sherry and bottles of water were a great touch. There was a hairdryer, fans if needed, umbrellas for you to use and a huge tv. The bed was super comfortable and I felt the room was a perfect temperature. The bathroom was tastefully decorated and again really clean and well kept.... BUT..... our shower didn't work. We both tried all we could think of the get it going and even called reception and somebody came but they couldn't work it either. We were travelling in a large group and we both had to go and shower in somebody else's room which was a nuisance (not really great carrying all your things across the car park in the rain to come back with a coat on and a towel around your head!). And it wasn't only our shower - quite a few in our party said they had to shower in barely warm water, or with the temperature going up and down drastically. I would certainly recommend the Redesdale Arms but when you first arrive check your shower works!

Dear jGEMMAM Sorry that you had a 12 new bathrooms installed in Feb and the contractor obviously let us down on some points. The issues are now all fixed so no need to worry. I am sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your feed back.

Had a room in the courtyard, nice and quiet this time of year. Nice large bed and comfortable, nice bathroom with good shower. Nice touches - decanter of sherry in the room and a bottle of Prosecco. Dined in the bar area, nice food and pleasant staff. Location is very handy for travelling around the area, there is a nice cheese shop next to the hotel - useful for local cheeses to take home at the end of your visit

Stopped at the Redesdale for 2 nights. Great location, room, food and service and good value for money. As well as the inclusive breakfast we dined both evenings also. Attentive service with varied choice. No hesitation in recommending and Moreton itself is lovely base. No complaints.

A great night away at this very central hotel in Morton in Marsh. A lovely clean room, lots of drinks options in the room. Tea, coffee, coffee machine with pods and bottles of water. Comfortable king size bed, with plenty of pillows. Flat screen TV, WiFi and bathroom toiletries. We were grateful that the windows could be opened to allow some air to circulate. Our evening meal was very enjoyable. The lunchtime Sunday roast was still available and was delicious followed by our choices of dessert. Lots of choices for breakfast. All well presented and plentiful. The staff were all very efficient and attentive. We hope to return soon.
