Redesdale Arms, Moreton in Marsh. In centre of village on A429 / A44-but don’t be put off thinking it may be very noisy. There are rooms in two new blocks at the rear of this old coaching inn that are in a quiet location and suffer no main road noise. (Can’t speak for any in the main building). Unlike the... more

We stayed in an executive family room, and it was fantastic. It had a seperate living room, bedroom (kingsize) and balcony, plus area for tea/coffee and fridge. All very clean. Also provided decanter of sherry and bottles of mineral water - very civilised! This is a great place to stay with young children (ours is a well-behaved age 4) because of... more

After researching which hotels were around the Moreton In Marsh area - we kept coming across the Redesdale Arms and contacted them directly to book our stay. We arrived 1.30hrs before check-in time - but our room was ready and was in the old part of the hotel - which dates back to around 1660. The room was quirky with... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel during the August Bank Holiday for one night - we got a good deal on Laterooms.com for £50 a night plus breakfast. We arrived at the hotel early and dropped off our bags, we were told that the room would be ready from 3.00 pm onwards. At 3.30 pm we turned up... more

This is an old coaching inn right on the main high street with free car parking right outside or to the rear of the hotel. Most of the other pubs in town aren't a patch on this so for a pint or a bed for the night this is the place to go. We stayed in an executive room which... more

We had not booked and were looking for a nice cosy Country Pub with a real fire without spending the earth. This is exactly what we found. This is not a 5 star hotel, nor does it pretend to be. It is a lovely old English Coaching Inn. We only had to pay £65 and found it to be good... more

Read the reviews and decided to try the hotel. Got a good deal and were very pleased with what we found. The room was comfortable, very clean and well equipped. We have paid far more for far less. The bar was friendly and inviting with a good range of local beers. We ate in the conservatory, which was warm and... more

We stayed at this hotel after christmas. We slept in one of the rooms in the back of the hotel on the ground floor. We could not sleep because of people walking on the ceiling above up until midnight. Really noisy!!! We did asked to be moved to an upstairs room the next day, and the staff were helpful to... more

Stayed here last weekend just for a single night in one of the Executive Double bedrooms. Room itself, very good, clean, modern and well decorated. The bar area very welcoming, nice log fire, good beer, newspapers - just as a Cotswold inn should be. Evening meal, fine albeit that service fairly un-sophicated. Then the rub, the nights sleep. Appalling due... more

We are genuinely sorry to hear of the bad nights sleep encountered by Mr Deddington on 1st December. We take his comments on board, however all the beds have been replaced in 2007 with Sealy mattresses which were used for their good quality and worldwide reputation. Once again we are sorry if the mattress was too hard for their personal...

We were staying in Moreton for a wedding and had a really enjoyable stay. We were in an 'executive room' which was clean, new and well-appointed. The breakfast was excellent, as was the pub lunch. I would recommend this as a great base to explore the Cotswolds, or just to wander around the pretty town on Moreton. more
