The Bear is marvellous. The food is out of this world, great local fresh produce, both the bar snacks and the proper restaurant. On reading the Hotel and Trip Advisor reviews we booked a three night stay and paid extra for a superior room. Pity this hotel had not been in the centre of Rodborough then the bar area would have more atmosphere, If thats not what your looking for then I would fully recommend the Bear of Rodborough for quite relaxing break with very good service. more
