Hotel is basic, but the rooms are fairly comfortable. However, the hotel is right next to the road, so don't expect a great night's sleep, as the windows are only single glazed. Breakfast is very nice and the couple who run the hotel are very pleasant indeed, but i wouldn't recommend eating dinner here. more

This is a small, basic hotel run - as far as we can tell - by one person. He was very friendly and helpful, providing a warm greeting and giving us useful directions to where we had dinner in Stroud that evening.
