Friends and family stayed in this hotel recently as I had arranged my parents' suprise Ruby Wedding Anniversary 5 mins walk away and recommended this site to them. Very disappointed ,wallpaper coming off.cracks in bedroom wall, unsafe electrics.Staircase carpet threadbear and dangerous. Stayed here on business. THe hotel is being refurbished and would recommend asking for a room that has been done. The room was large and comfortable, bathroom was very clinical but functional. The windows all have wooden blinds to cover them which means the room is never dark with light straeming in from outside. The food was very good value... more
