A truly dreadful hotel. Our suite was filthy with stained bedcovers, dead flies in the bathroom, dirty tissues in the drawers, and horrible polyester sheets, acrylic blankets and cheap lumpy man made pillows. Beutiful buildings and park, very well maintained. Great rooms, very clean and comfortable. Excellent staff. Try to get a room not facing the noisy main road. Great pub and restaurant with high quality food. Pricing is at the upper limit. more

Brilliant. Superbly dog friendly (dogs are allowed to stay in rooms while you have dinner in the restaurant) fantastic staff, great surroundings, delicious food. We will definitley be returning!! more

A one night stay was all we had at The Hare and Hounds but wished we had stayed longer. It was just perfect. Comfortable, Clean (and I am fussy) and Quiet. The food was excellent and the staff were very attentive polite and helpful. We can't wait to visit again. more
