We stayed in the two bedroom cottage Charles II. A quirky and historic place in a peaceful location which was well equipped with everything you would need - especially in the kitchen. However, with the age comes some negatives, very creaky floorboards upstairs, small bedrooms with low ceilings, noisy plumbing system and very dated and tired decor. The cottage complex... more

Wonderful stay in Charming Cotswold Cottage. We stayed here for a mid week holiday during June. Our comfortable, Self Contained Cottage, "Lady Jane Grey" was a fantastic "home from home." The Gardens around the cottage are immaculate and would delight any fan of English Cottage Style Gardening. Inside our cottage was large enough for our family of 4 with three... more

I stayed here during a college trip, and the accomodations were just lovely, well-appointed and well-laid-out, like a little village unto itself. Plus, it was an easy stroll up to see the castle itself. I'd definitely recommend this place. more

A beautiful set of cottages originally built for the workers on the nearby Sudeley Castle estate, they stand on a cul de sac about 2 minutes walk from Winchcombe High Street. Winchcombe is a delightful example of a twee Cotswold village and these cottages fit in well with the whole scene, in a peaceful location next to a stream. The... more

I booked all 13 cottages for a big surprise birthday for my wife's 40th. I managed to keep it secret and we had a fantastic weekend. We got a private tour of the castle although I don't think the public are allowed in there any more. The cottages and location are fantastic - they do vary in size so check... more

We stayed in the Charles I cottage and had a really lovely time. The cottages are so pretty and delightful and it is a real pleasure to stay in them. The cottage was nicely furnished and well stocked, with pots and pans, dishes and utensils, an oven, stove, microwave, and fridge. Included are washing-up liquid, sugar, tea, coffee, soap, shampoo,... more

We just returned from a week's stay in the Queen's Cottage and had a great time. The cottage was clean and very cozy. We loved the location situated just between Winchcombe and Sudeley Castle. The Cottages are located in an adorable hamlet and it was a pleasure to stay here. Your stay at the cottage includes unlimited admission to Sudeley... more

We stayed here in March of 2002 with a group of 38 from the U.S. Amazingly, with a group that size, everyone thought the accommodations were just perfect. Charming setting on the edge of the village of Winchcombe, cozy interiors, fully equipped kitchens, roomy bathrooms. We made this our base for the week, visiting a variety of sights during the... more
