The Sudeley Castle Cottages website really does not do these cottages justice. I was not convinced by the website but took the risk as I was struggling to find Easter availability elsewhere. So glad I did! The cottages are so pretty and in the perfect setting- we woke to birdsong and the sound of the river. We stayed in the... More

We have been coming back to the cottages for fifteen years and have stayed at the following, Queen Mary, Lady Jane, Queens, Emma Dent, The mill House and in the early days Archurs and Huntsmans. We have been back three times this year. We love the cosy atmosphere and it feels like going back in time. We relax, love the... More

when we drive through the gates on the drive it really felt like visiting a film set. And the story continued when we waked through the door of lady jane gray cottage with cotswold stone and beams throughout this was just what we wanted. Comfortable and well equipped in a prefect location, will be visiting again in the future.

Lovely old cottages that have been renovated with modern interiors. We stayed in the Queen Mary & found it to be super clean, with a well equipped kitchen, an electric fire, & a TV with the usual channels. It is a 5 minute walk into Winchcombe town centre (small though it is). We went in frosty January & even though... More

Really the perfect base to explore the Cotswolds. Part of a group of houses and villas next to Sudeley Castle, it is reasonably expensive, but worth every pound. We had three bedrooms for two adults and two children, the kitchen was ideal for cooking basic meals (would have been good to stock up with ingredients from the many nearby markets,... More

We have stayed in 3 of the cottages (Queens, Queen Mary and Emma Dent) on lots of occasions. Queens and Emma Dent are detached, Queen Mary semi-detached. Location is just down from the village of Winchcombe in the midst of lovely countryside within the Sudeley estate. It is always a delight to visit whether in sun, rain or snow! There... More

My family stayed in the Queens cottage in May for 3 nights. The cottage was cute and quaint. The furnishings were nice and the cottage kitchen had everything needed to cook. The cottage consisted of a front porch with 2 chairs and table, the den with couches and tv, dining area with table and 4 chairs, bathroom, and kitchen. You... More

I booked the Emma Dent, Queen's and Lady Jane Gray cottages for a 3 night stay. There were 10 of us in our group and everyone had a fantastic time. Our age group was from 8 months to...well 60 something. The cottages are in a lovely location. Very close (walking distance) to Winchcombe which has lovely shops and a tea... More

We stayed in Emma Dent and were pleasantly surprised with the cottage. It has been recently remodeled - and has a new kitchen, freshly painted walls and new carpets. The cottage and small village are both quite attractive. The bath is small but functional. Our only complaint is that the mattresses were not very comfortable - you could feel the... More

We stayed in the two bedroom cottage Charles II. A quirky and historic place in a peaceful location which was well equipped with everything you would need - especially in the kitchen. However, with the age comes some negatives, very creaky floorboards upstairs, small bedrooms with low ceilings, noisy plumbing system and very dated and tired decor. The cottage complex... More
