We stayed at the White Hart and loved it! Ii's a stones’ throw from stunning Sudeley Castle. The village is picturesque, a typical Cotswold delight, with a bevvy of antique shops. Lots to do in a leisurely way and the perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds. What’s not to like? It’s small and intimate. Although not super-modern, our room was... more

We stayed for 1 night in May and we really could'nt fault it, we had the 'superior 'castle twin room which was well furnished with a very large bathroom (not a nice view of the fire escape but hey ho) the evening meal was great and the breakfast was fab ! read some of the other reviews and cant believe... more

We were recommended to stay here by friends and were glad that we took their advice. The staff were helpful & friendly and the whole venue just has a comfortable feel to it. As a vegetarian I can't comment on the quality of the sausages, although my friends assured me that they were fantastic. I concentrated on the wine part... more

This inn was booked for us by the tour operator we used to plan a walking holiday through the Cotswolds. Very tired room and washroom/shower were well in need of replacement. Mouldy shower and creaky floor boards with thread bare carpet - yuck! Thankfully the traffic is non-existent once the sun goes down as the single pane window of our... more

Accommodation poor. No hot water on arrival. Surly service in restaurant which caused us to leave. Try the Plaisterers Arms just up the road. Much better bet' more

We stayed at the White Hart on our first night of walking The Cotswold Way. There were 10 of us. We had booked 2 rooms on the first floor and three other rooms on the top floor. The latter, called Ramblers Rooms, all shared one bathroom and were at a cheaper rate. They were awful. Our room smelt of stale... more

Our room was the Castle Room, had great views was old fashioned but very clean and a really comfortable bed. Bathroom was clean and a great supply of hot water. Nice touch of bath robes in the room.... more

Only ate here but this pub is pitched as being "passionate" about wine and food. The food was OK, did not blow me away, service was average to bad. I would not have been disappointed if I had expected a pub that sells food but only went to this pub for the food and wine, I'm sure they have some... more

What a disappointment my friend and I booked a twin room, the web site looked really good but it didn't live up to expectations. The room was tiny, the furniture dated and everything a bit sticky!! We ate in the restaurant which was quite nice but the evening was let down by bad service and poor food more

We did not stay at the hotel but dined at the White Hart. The food was nice although over priced. The menu illustrates an early evening offer for 2 or 3 courses at a reduced price, which we decided to take advantage of. Neither the staff nor the menu made it clear that this offer needed to be specified and... more
