We were recommended to stay here by friends and were glad that we took their advice. The staff were helpful & friendly and the whole venue just has a comfortable feel to it. We stayed at the White Hart on our first night of walking The Cotswold Way. There were 10 of us. We had booked 2 rooms on the first floor and three other rooms on the top floor. We stayed for one night, great reception when we arrived friendly staff, once upstairs a real different style to that of downstairs. Our room was the Castle Room, had great views was old fashioned but very clean and a really comfortable bed. Bathroom was clean and a great supply of hot water. Only ate here but this pub is pitched as being "passionate" about wine and food. The food was OK, did not blow me away, service was average to bad. I would not have been disappointed if I had expected a pub that sells food but only went to this pub for the food and wine, I'm sure they have some... more

What a disappointment my friend and I booked a twin room, the web site looked really good but it didn't live up to expectations.The room was tiny,the furniture dated and everything a bit sticky!! We ate in the restaurant which was quite nice but the evening was let down by bad service and poor food more
